Activist Groups Protest on Presidential Inauguration Day

Several activist organizations gathered on Presidential Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, New York, under the banner “We Fight Back: Anti Imperialist Feminist Contingent,” to highlight issues of imperialism, feminism, and human rights.

The protest was organized by groups including Code Pink NYC, the Palestinian Feminist Collective, the Audre Lorde Project, AFIRM-NYC, and the PalAwda Mothers Committee. These organizations united to oppose oppressive policies and advocate for global justice and equality.
