They had a magnificent wedding ceremony. The wedding was held amidst the blessings of disability organizations and many others.
Youngeun left a message on the chat program designed for individuals with severe disabilities: “I had briefly visited the facility, but since there were specific visiting hours, I could only see them for a short time. I was worried that if I started dating, I might be taken to the director’s office and scolded, so I kept my feelings to myself. Now that I am back at the facility, I have re-enrolled. As for pregnancy, I haven’t made any plans yet. I would like to have a child, but given my disability, we have mutually agreed not to pursue that for now.”
Youngeun lightly touches Sangwoo’s cheek and smiles, prompting Sangwoo to poke Youngeun’s cheek in return. This is one way they express their affection for each other.

Sangwoo and Youngeun smile together under the fully bloomed cherry blossoms in spring.

Sang-woo and Young-eun are a newlywed couple. They have severe disabilities and cannot move around independently without assistance. They have become independent from disability facilities and are also human rights activists working to ensure that people with disabilities can live independently and have their human rights respected after leaving such facilities. They cannot ride the subway together. The spaces available for electric wheelchairs are limited, and people express dissatisfaction about occupying those seats because they do not want to cause inconvenience.
