The Flag Tie

A “Rally in Defense of Immigrants” was held on February 8 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The rally was organized to oppose the Trump administration’s immigration executive orders and the increased ICE enforcement in New York while advocating for immigrant rights. The event was largely attended by immigrants from South America, many of whom draped themselves in their national flags. They expressed their desire to live without fear of enforcement actions.
